PowerBox plug & play diesel chip to Suit:
Ford Ranger 3.0L from 2007 – 2011 (PJ / PK)
Also: Mazda BT-50 2007 – 2011 3.0L
Achieve power gains of +15% increase in horsepower and +20% increase in torque.
(Approx +20kw and torque of +45Nm)
Max gains for PJ Ranger are from 115KW to 133KW, and torque is from 380Nm to 432Nm.
Unit comes preset at approx 2/3 of this to allow for different vehicle tolerances.
Average fuel savings 1ltr / 100km.
HOW DOES THE POWERBOX WORK?
-Chip works by modifying the electronic signals which control fuel pressure produced by the pump, in order to optimize engine performance.
Pressure accumulates faster within the rail and is more readily maintained, delivering more power and torque.
-It senses and responds to changes in engine load & speed throughout the range of acceleration.
Increased torque produced by the PowerBox enables the engine to operate more efficiently, so fuel consumption is also minimized.
-Operating within the safe operating parameters set by the manufacturer, it does not change or interfere with engine ECU functioning.
– When unit is unplugged, the vehicle will return to factory default settings.
COMPATIBILITY:
It is equipped with plugs compatible with those on your vehicle. Following the instruction manual provided, even if you are not mechanically inclined, you can still install the chip in just a few minutes.
POWER ADJUSTMENT:
There is an adjustment screw on the side of the box which has been factory preset to provide moderate power improvement. However, if more power is required the unit can be manually adjusted by using a small screw driver (Anti-clockwise to increase, clockwise to decrease – refer to owner’s manual provided)
